Having seen artwork showing Ripley wearing a Xenomorph like spce suit i thought the concept just seemed cool. So i decided to draw Ripley in a version of the suit finding and examining the planet where the Prometheus crashed.Related content

That would have been cool to bring him back, i always disliked the third movie killing him off and wouldn't mind if they had ignored it.

Actually he isnβt dead. Colonial Marines video game showed he was taken out of hypersleep by other marines when Xenomorphs were in the ship. He saw a face hugger wrapped around Ridleyβs face, already too late. The marines made it seem like he was dead, using the body of one of their own. Hicks was even voiced in the game by Michael Biehn
