Inspired by a suggestion from Chaos-cross, though i may have misunderstood which characters he wanted.This is a homage to a classic Superman the Movie scene, but with Asuka as Powergirl standing in for Superman, and Shinji standing in for Lois Lane.
It's not too often i do romantic scenes, but i think it turned out nice, gentle.
I guess it could be a kind of fantasy Shinji has created where he and Asuka are happy, away from problems and responsibility, it is just him, her, and the starry sky.
I would give Asuka the new Powergirl costume but this one just looks better, more iconic.

I'm a little late to the part here but very nicely done, not a big fan of Asuka and Shinji as a pairing but it's certainly cute. Nicely done.

I personally prefer Rei over Asuka. Y'know, her being a royal bitch all the time, treating Shinji like her personal slave. But your picture is really good!!
