Powergirl and Crimson Fox team up, action and hi-jinks ensue as the pair recall their time in the JLI and foil the machinations of Kobra/Intergang/whoever .

As heroines go, Justice League International members Karen Starr/Power girl and Vivian D'Aramis/Crimson Fox were decidedly oil and water in the 1990's. Karen could benchpress mountains while Vivian was quite human ( allegedly her strength and abilities were 'enhanced' but she never displayed anything above a conditioned DCU human ), in contrast Karen was a mass of insecurities hiding behind an impressive and at times aggressive front, while Vivian was rather confident and at ease in her own skin in spite of her general lack of superpowers.

More really could have been done with the friendship between these two, since their exchanges were rather fun and as wealthy businesswomen they could move in similar circles.

Of course by the time of the 2009 Palmiotti/Gray/Connor series Karen had largely overcome her doubts and become genuinely confident herself ( to be honest she had arguably reached this by the late 1990's but the character seemed to almost get reset when she appeared in the JSA in the 2000's, as though her extensive period in the JLI was being ignored ), i like to think a bit of Vivian rubbed off on Karen.
