Inspired by an image in the final issue of the amusingly silly Harley Quinn and Power Girl mini-series, i can't say much without giving things away, but i felt like drawing my own take of the outfit that featured in the story and looked to me as a sort of 1960's housewife dress crossed with her 1990 gold costume. It could be a coincidence of it's mild resemblance to an old outfit, or it might be deliberate, but either way i kind of liked the look.Anyhow what i can say is that the comic is worth reading for fans of the old DC Universe Palmiotti/Conner Powergirl series, and for fans of their recent run with Harley Quinn.

Loved Conner's Power Girl, I despise Nu-52 Harley. And I am speaking as a big fan of the classic one...

I didn't like New 52 Harley from the Suicide Squad comics or the Batman related titles she initially featured in, like almost every DC character at the start of the New 52 she felt... wrong. Yet i think the Conner/Palmiotti series was close to being a continuation of the old Universe Harley series ( certainly the Power Girl that guest starred was much closer to the old one than her New 52 incarnation in spite of her costume ) and has been a fun and silly read.

Actually it is pretty much the Older Karen, Vartox and all. The problem I had with the Harley series is that I've seen it all already in Lobo's solo on-going . As hit-or-miss that one was, it did not sacrifice Bo's basic personna like they're doing with Harley ( she was a victim of the Joker...my foot ! She followed the bastard on her own free will !). Thankfully, the movie did not make that mistake to my everlasting surprise !

As far as i know, she doesn't actually smoke ( it is purely for this picture ) although she does drink alcohol from time to time.
