In the wake of the Wonder Woman movie, Karen Starr is feeling envious...To be honest it's somewhat unlikely that Powergirl will ever make a live action appearance in any DC movie or TV show, maybe the characters costume just seems to bother certain people, or someone feels she's just too similar to Supergirl. Whatever the case it's a pity since DC's premiere tsundere and cat owner would lend herself to a witty and fun action script... oh wait.. that might explain things given the general tone of DC movies

I guess, would have been better if she hadn't been a costume change for Supergirl, but from the episode I've seen that version of Supergirl seemed to have Power girls personality stamped on her.

She did have that supporting role in the Superman/Batman: Public Enemies animated movie.

Then again that was a piece of excrement and she was grossly mis-characterized in it. Ah well ... yeah I got nothing else.
For some reason I think she'd work well in a TV serie, like Daredevil.

If the JLU series hadn't been canceled, i think they might have given Galatea a story setting her up as Power Girl, they had already sent Supergirl into the future to live happily ever after with Brainiac 5 and never return, so their was a space open for her to fill.
I didn't mind Public Enemies, as a Batman Superman movie introducing the extended DC cast it could be worse. I agree Power Girl was oddly reticent, but i like to put that down to her conflicting loyalties between Captain Atom and Superman, one is a good friend while the other is more or less family, so she trusts both, making it an awkward situation for her.
I'd still like to see a movie, but a TV series would be cool as long as it has a bit of humour.

Good idea for the JLU. At the time I though they would introduce another clone while explaining that cloning kryptonians is really hard and that they failed a bunch of times at first. One of the "failed clones" would have escaped and would later get in contact with the League. She'd be a less powerful version of Supergirl and feel the need to train constantly to feel adequate, hence the big guns ^^
Public Enemy rubbed me the wrong way because it moved too fast. Some adversaries that should have been a match for Batman and Superman were dispatched as an after though. And when PowerGirl went up against Luthor she was tossed to the side as if there was no way she could have made a dent on him. But I guess it was mostly an action thing and I shouldn't think too much about it.

I agree, they should be friends, i recall an amusing story involving Powergirl, Wonder Woman, Crimson Fox, Dr Light and Ice and they all seemed on good terms.
The problem is they are spoiled for choice of origin

And yea. Almost any of the origins raises questions too (the ancient Atlantean sorcerer one would raise almost as much as alt-dimension Supergirl!)
