Description
During a Justice League member sparring match, Karen Starr shows that there was a reason Hal Jordan used to create bubbles and boxing gloves with his lantern ring rather than constructs with various pieces interlocking...To be honest i can't even be sure that the Green Lantern rings power is still dependent on the will and concentration of the user, but that's the case for this picture as the off panel user is failing badly.

She's got a point there. Every link, joint, swivel etc is a structural point of failure. The more complex a construct the higher possibility it'll break.

Yep, a Green lantern should really keep things simple, but then that would be less fun to see.

That mostly depends on the user. It works for Hal Jordan and Guy Gardner cause thereall guts and no brains.. John Stewart and Kyle Rayner however have more elaborate constructs With John being an ex Marines and an artchitech and Kyle Rayner being an artist. Some people in the comics have commented before that while Kyle Rayner dosent need to go full Otaku with his constructs it makes him very unpredictable. Like Hal would do a Truck.. Kyle would do a truck that transforms into a robot and shoot missles and lazers

Great job. Β Nice job giving her upper body muscles. Why no visible muscles for her legs? Β

She was so focused on 'willing' her escape, that what the energy construct was it didn't sink in to enrage her.
I was actually kind of pleased with the unimpressed, almost bored expression i gave her that i didn't think to draw her being irritated. Thanks

Not in this case, she wouldn't be looking so relaxed if it were Kryptonite.

No idea, but it probably still depends on the whim of writers.
