Description
While searching through space for a lost companion, Powergirl encounters a curious crystal that plays havok with her feelings and memories, a crystal that must surely belong to the Star Sapphires.Between my DC Civil War series, i have been working on one or two Powergirl pictures, this one was purely for fun and something of a glamour picture that spun off my initial Powergirl Amongst the Stars picture.

You have a sweet way of drawing her facial expressions. She looks very dreamy here, and appears to be blushing a bit.

Thanks, i was aiming for dreamy or detached from where she actually is, as the crystal is causing her to recall and experience every joyful, tender and romantic moment she has ever had, all at once, which i felt was best conveyed with the blushing.

Looking at her left hand on her belly, it almost looks like she's recalling the time that DC had her become pregnant for one of their storylines long ago. [link] "During the 1994 Zero Hour event, Power Girl experiences a mystical pregnancy and gives birth to a son (supposedly named Equinox),who ages rapidly.Finally he disappears, and has never been mentioned again in DCU" They've given her so many false and fictional character biographies over the years that it would make sense that she might retain these memories and be as confused as we are with DC's canon!
