With a formal Justice League/Justice Society party in full swing, Kara ( Powergirl ) and Nate ( Captain Atom ) take a moment outside only to be caught up by distractions from their teammates ( Blue Beetle and Booster Gold probably told Wildcat they thought Batman could take him out with one punch ).

There was going to be more of a conversation, with a few jabs at the characters treatments by the New 52 and their prospects ( or lack of them ) in the new year, but i decided to just cut it down in the end.
