Another take on how Powergirl could have looked for the start of the New 52, and i think an example on how to keep true to the spirit of her most recognised costume while giving her some sort of symbol ( that lets be honest she doesn't need and has never needed ).Related content

I think i should have made her a little slimmer and less busty for a younger version of Powergirl, but thanks for the vote of confidence in the concept

Hey keep up the nice work, yeah if you wanted to give her a "teen" sort of look you are right. But then again there are plenty of teens that do not look teenage at all, but for a comic character I guess that would be better. Take it easy!

Nice shadow work on her body with a nice ray of light on her face. I see the stylized "P" you were going for, it does resemble slightly the symbol on her present jumpsuit "costume" (or as I've dubbed it, her "painter's coveralls").
It looks like she's got a good grip on whatever she's got a hold on.

I wouldn't worry, i'll probably be going through several variant designs for her early days fan story symbol ( in my fanstory i already made her from a separate Household from the House of El instead from my made up House of Rao, named after Kryptons sun ). Besides, no one is meant to like her costume having a symbol on it
