At a critical moment, Diana won't let Barbara fall...I tend to like the idea of Cheetah/Barbara Minerva and Wonder Woman/Diana as estranged friends, often at odds in their activities but deep down sharing a bond.

I agree, there is a tragic element to friends being in opposition, perhaps balanced by the hope that they could resolve their differences. It's an interesting idea.

Yep, I have read the Fall and Rise of Captain Atom, and i keep meaning to write a journal entry on it. Pleasingly it has enabled Cap to be a useable character in other DC comic stories by moderating his power levels, and hopefully they will sort out his appearance in another story.

I agree! In my opinion, Cap is one of DC's most underrated heroes. But I honestly think they can put him into good use once they re-introduce the other iconic superheroes in their lineup. Or maybe even sooner! Either way, my fingers are crossed.

Pretty nice. Kind of like how(admittedly depending on the writer) Diana wants to reform her arch-enemies, and this is her refusing to give up on them.
