Women of Marvel Sketch card, featuring Crystal of the Inhumans in her FF uniform.Marvel asked me to do a WOMEN OF MARVEL sketch card, and said I could draw anyone I wanted, from any era. Well, my very first comic I ever owned was FANTASTIC FOUR #81, from 1968. Sue Richards was very pregnant with Reed Richards' baby, and Johnny Storm's super-powered girlfriend Crystal made herself an FF uniform & joined the team, just in time for them to fight the Wizard and his Wonder Gloves (you just can't write stuff like this any more...)
It was a big joy to revisit my first comic, even if only for a card.

Crystal is not really as badass as Sue. But you made her here look like he could destroy the millennium falcon or death star from that look.

Great job on this card , I have 15 or so of the WOM sets put back ,fresh from the box , I can dream they will one day rank up there witth the 96 Masrepieces! It is a great set overall.....wish I had the AH! case topper though!

FF #81 (when Crystal joined to FF to sub for the pregnant Sue Richards) was my first comic-book I over had, so when I was asked to do a Marvel babes card, I asked if I could do Crystal in her FF outfit. Strangely, they said yes.
