This is a digital paintup of the actual Lara Croft statue prototype, sculpted by the fabulous Tim Miller!I digitally colored a photograph Tim sent me, using Adobe Photoshop CS2, to produce this: a guide for the Sideshow Collectibles' painters to use when painting the prototype.
The actual statue should be available for preorder in a month or two!

Somehow I'm nearly ALWAYS disappointed with the paintwork done on beautifully rendered sculpted miniatures - it seems so often there is something missing in the interpretation between what the sculptor has done and what the paint artist feels they have to do.
On the rare occasion it CAN all come together when the sculptor and paint artist work as one and I'm hopeful that your guiding hand will result in a wonderful piece.
