This was a 'guaranteed' sketch from a con this summer, and the eBay winner (that's how we let people fight it out) picked Maggie the Mechanic from the Hernandez Bros.' LOVE AND ROCKETS. One of the all-time greatest comics, period.

Holy snakes...one of my favourite artists drawing a character from one of my other favourite artists...this is like if Mike Patton covered Tom Waits. I love that you've incorporated the old weird airships from the early comics, but I'd love to see what you did with Hopey. Great interpretation, this, I can't stop looking at it.
