This is the sketch for the guaranteed eBay sketch done for Baltimore Comic-Con. Before anyone asks "You did this at a show?" - I didn't. I worked on it from home, and took a day on it. The winner is a friend of mine, so I wanted it to be extra awesome with chocolate sauce and jimmies.
Also, Mantis is an old-school AVENGERS character. I have no idea what her deal is, especially those things coming off her head. I infodumped my childhood.

BTW Adam: Mantis is probably one of the best Martial Artist in comicdom, So skillfull and powerfull she can take down guys as strong as Thor(and did it twice!)Trained be the Kree Priests of Pama to be the Celestial Madonna(loooong story)Shes been hero/villian/and back to hero again, and has the distinction of having appeared in 3 different comic companies because shes Steve Englehart's creation,
Marvel, DC, Image, and back to Marvel all in different guises! A curious creation but no one to mess with in a fight! I'm doing a drawing of her vs. Streetfighter II's Chun-Li as of this writing! But your version rocks! (Like everything you do!) C'ya!

I love this one.....but as for the paper you are using ...are you using the Strathmore Drawing or Sketch....i thought at one time you were using the sketch...im just curious because the drawing paper is causing my copics to feel scratchy and leaving texture marks, but then again im probrobly missing something

I use the back side of each sheet of the Strathmore Drawing paper. It's MUCH smoother. OInly use the front side of you WANT that textured look.
