Several people have commented that they think Yoda looks badass or something in this detail.
If you like your Yoda being badasstic, please read STAR WARS: Dark Rendezvous by Sean Stewart. It's a Clone Wars-era novel, taking place about 6 months before the events of Revenge of the Sith. It's one of the best STAR WARS novels ever, and it's a Yoda story. Yoda is so cool in this novel, you will love it. You'll also find a very fleshed-out Count Dooku, and his relationship with Assajj Ventriss.

I have also read that book...in fact it is right next to me. 
It is very humorous, suspenseful, and of course, awesome.

Love the Dark Rendezvous plug. It is easily one of the best SW novels I've ever read. Yoda and Dooku's relationship is detailed very nicely and really adds some depth to the two of them. Great novel.

I thought that made it poignant; reading the whole novel, you knew there going to be dead in 6 months. Actually, the whole Prequel trilogy should've been like that, since we know how everyone ends up, and for most, the end is DEAD. But I thought the book succeeded at that sadness quite well!
