Hello everyone, here's another personal project of mine, a refresh of the Klingon Vor'cha ship. I didn't want to stray too far away from the original so it should be quite similar but with some better shapes.

Well, Klingons don't over-engineer new designs when a tried and true one works. They prefer reliable and simple over complex and showy.
You can always trust on their disruptors working instead of risking an overload, like in 'The Balance of Terror' episode.

Ah yes, the K'tinga class Battle Cruiser. The venerable D7. An excellent example of the philosophy I mentioned earlier, as in the old FASA story line, they came out a little before the Constitution class in the Four Year War. I would recommend the fan film 'Prelude to Axanar'. It feels more Star Trek than the Discovery series to me.

Well I'm in Poland and on top of that in a really small city so I'm just importing everything from other countries.
I started collecting movie and videogame books lately so I think I'll stick to that until I have no space left to fill.

Love the sleeker look
If I remember correctly the front had changable modules, will you be doing other modules?

Nothing planned yet but I might do some variants in future now that I have a model ready.

I like it. It looks more sleek and aggressive than the canon Vor'cha - the flow of the design gives it a "faster" shape, so to speak. I especially like the fire control tower (at least, I think that's what it was) being integrated with the "neck" rather than being tacked on top of it.

Parts sticking out of the ship have it a really weird look since Klingons were all about raw power and going into battle with parts being glued on top of hull didn't seem like a wise move.

If you think about it, if Starfleet ships would't already have their distinctive look, this would be a really beautiful alternative.
With some adjustments, like a white/grey surface, Windows, more round shapes instead of sharp edges, this could very well be a really nice hero ship.

Itβs actually funny... add another wing on the dorsal area and have a 120* gap between all 3 wings and you have a vessel that I made for an Andromeda-Stargate fanfiction that Iβm currently working on...

Oh yeah, I did Trek quite a few times and actually did more of it when I was starting 3D. My first real sci-fi project was working on a fan-made cel-shaded revival of Star Trek Enterprise Season 5.

Yeah and most of them unfortunately go unnoticed. Everyone just remakes the Enterprise while not paying enough attention to aliens.

Well the Enterprice was THE center piece of the whole show.
It got the most detail, the most exposition, the most work on refits, redesigns, polishing ect.
But i agree with you, there are plenty of other designs deserving of some love.
