I like this; it looks like a compromise between the "too shiny, too sleek" designs of the Prequels and the blockier, more industrial looking ships of the original trilogy. It looks very fast and powerful as well.

Given the ETA designation, probably an A-Wing predecessor, a stop gap between the ETA ACTIS and the A-Wing.
Could also be a fusion of those two designs.

Well, there were tons of concepts for Ep7 in the art book, but they all seem pretty random with various fighters, dropships and speeders. I just bought a Rogue One art book and even though there are a lot of ships in here, they are all focused - new TIE, U-Wing or Krennic's shuttle. I think that Force Awakens went through a lot of changes and tons of ideas were scrapped.
