Description To think I’ve had this thing since mid May and I’m just now getting around to posting it because I needed to finish some tutorials. Nevertheless, I thank the Lord that I was able to finally find the time to post it along with the tutorials. Of course there’s more yet to come!

Body Side is here: sta.sh/09ac2lfxrqm
Print these at 300 DPI and you should get right at a 8" x 10.5" print well within a letter sized paper.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8Qe2i…  In full 1080 HD! So you can see all the cracks in my hands. ^^'

I admit it’s probably not the best, but I tried. Hopefully I’ll get better as time progresses.

You may notice the premium download that costs points. It includes vector formats for Photoshop .PSD, Illustrator .AI, AutoCAD Interchange File .DXF, and Portrait Silhouette .Studio files. It’s also licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International, but purchasing it will encourage me to keep making tutorials even if you don’t use it! I mean let’s be honest, this pattern isn’t all that hot.

Don’t forget my contest. It ends the 25th!

... I actually don't believe I even possess one!
This being such an excellent question and yet, I can't believe I've never posted or even recall taking a picture of the finished product! (I actually finished it right before giving it to a family for their newborn since I finished the tutorials using a different plush much earlier.)
If you watch toward the end of the 4th video, you can get a fairly good idea of what it looks like. I admit it's not as good as my paid patterns: fav.me/da1gdgj  fav.me/d9fnbyp But it gives a feel of working with the patterns in general for those new to sewing plushies.

My printer only lets me print at 600 dpi will it still work?

adamlhumphreys In reply to justanotherday8 [2016-05-26 18:37:09 +0000 UTC]

Even the screen resolution of 72 dpi would be more than enough. It's not like it's a very photographic image. ^^

thanks for sharing this tutorial pattern!  you weren't kidding when you said in the tutorial  how different this pattern would be if we'd be using a different pattern all this time.   I tried 7 or eight different times to get this one just right.  oh well   but thanks for explaining how to thread sculpt a mouth i've been dying to learn how to do this  ever since i took my first steps into pony plushie making.

I hear ya. I'm on try number 31 from my own initial pattern. ^^ It's just a matter of trial and error.

Lanah-Artz [2015-05-31 04:20:40 +0000 UTC]

there are 2 hoofs in this pattern, so we should cut 8 total?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

adamlhumphreys In reply to Lanah-Artz [2015-05-31 06:06:40 +0000 UTC]

Nah, I just included a second because they tend to wear out more. Changes aren't typically made to them, so they're used more often.

Uhm I tried   it out fav.me/d8s8hnl . What bugs me is the fact, that I doesn't seem to be able to correctly sew the head shape/fill it so it will be round. Could that be caused by the changed pattern size?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

adamlhumphreys In reply to Tianera [2015-05-06 06:16:04 +0000 UTC]

Awesome!
I don't think it'd be caused by pattern size, though it could have a effect. If this is your first plush, you may well need more stuffing. The bigger a plush is, the harder it is so stuff also. I remember my first plush was real squishy, but now they're much firmer though still a bit soft. I bought one that was so firm it was more like a soft sculpture. That's a bit too dense IMO, but I still love it. ^^ That's what makes plushies so hard to judge from a picture.
Also, the nose on my tutorial pattern was never all that good.
