Trying out some tech concepts as I flesh out pitch materials for Oracle. Most of this story takes place in the 17th century, but there are recurring scenes from a war-torn future, and I wanted to play around with having a well-concieved look for those parts. Coming up with distinctive future-tech is a challenge and a half; there is little that hasn't been done, and done well, to be honest. As you can see, I'm leaning towards a cleaner utopian style here, and I'm thinking that this device can be modular, so that the cockpit can take on numerous appendages and be lots of different types of vehicles. But I'm still working that out, and I'm not sure how well-realized it really needs to be, since my first story arc only has about 4 pages set in this era. Anyway, it was fun to do some painting, as always, and I have a video of this one coming soon. Enjoy,
