First, the angle of the image creates a very nice feel to the piece giving it more of an "action" vibe then it would have had coming at it straight on. Second, I adore all of the textural variances in this piece - from the hard shiny surfaces of the storm trooper's armor, to the soft supple "feeling" of the girl's clothing.
As much as I look, I just cannot find anything to suggest fixing. I love the glow of the light saber on the floor, the lighting, the smokey haze in the background; it just comes together to make a very remarkable piece.

You're quite welcome. I didn't mention it before, but I also love some of the little details you might not notice right away - like the D2 unit hehe.

All I can say is TEACH ME! I would love to be able to create realistic renders like this one. I'm not sure where you got all your stuff either, but it rocks. I love all the detail - how did you get the STs up in the balconies in the background? The R2 unit is a cute touch and I simply love the jedi's makeup. That is not something people put alot of work into. Nice job, the angle works so good for this scene and her expression puts a lot of feeling in it as well.

Hehe, thanks!
The Star Wars specific stuff is all freebies! You can find them over at [link] (search for Star Wars) although I did make some shiny shaders for the trooper armor instead of using the textures.
The ST's in the background are actually in the scene. The entire hanger bay is a giant prop. So it's just an XYZ translate to get 'em there and then add a few lights...
All the other little extras are from all over the place though.

I found the ST armor and a lot of other goodies there! I already have the shaders so I can't wait to render my son a ST, he loooves em, lol.
I couldn't find the hangar prop though, can you help me out once more with that? TY!

Sure, but I am sad to report that it isn't a freebie. That's a portion of "Starcarrier" [link] by Kibarreto. It's an amazing piece though.

Very nice. I love the ST's reflective texture. Camera angle is right-on as well. Good work.
