UPDATE: For the time being, you can see a 10-page preview from EMPOWERED vol. 2 at Publishers' Weekly: [link]Here's the "recap page" from the beginning of the second volume of EMPOWERED, my "sexy superhero comedy" book published by Dark Horse Comics. This pretty much explains the set-up and main characters from EMPOWERED vol. 1, in case you'd not yet seen it.

Anyhoo... This is about it for extras from EMPOWERED 2, at least for the time being. I'll prolly post a few interior (comics) pages every now and then, as the October release date approaches. Hope you enjoyed the barrage o' chapter breaks... and now, on to EMPOWERED vol. 3! Woo hoo!

A fair number of new characters do indeed show up, but I'm not sure how many will be regular cast members. A number of characters are technically recurring from vol. 1, but appeared only in the very briefest of cameos there... as in, King Tyrant Lizard as an action figure, and the dark-haired girl whom Emp fails to rescue in "It's Like This" (who eventually becomes "Ocelotina" in vol. 3), and so on.

You should get the word out and get an Empowered game in the works. It'd be amazing fun to take some damage and run around with half-naked Emp fighting bad guys with martial arts and the occassionally-functional zap.
