Pardon the slightly lower-than-normal quality of this jpeg, as it's an old, low-res file from before I started saving my files at better resolutions. Anyhoo, as you can read in the rest of the excerpted story segment, here we're seeing Emp practicing some superheroic quips and wisecracks ahead of time. (The Uwe Boll reference is a bit of a stretch, as Emp is really not an especially devoted videogamer, but I couldn't stop myself.)
