Pardon the slightly lower-than-normal quality of this jpeg, as it's an old, low-res file from before I started saving my files at better resolutions. Anyhoo, as you can read in the rest of the excerpted story segment, here we're seeing Emp practicing some superheroic quips and wisecracks ahead of time. (The Uwe Boll reference is a bit of a stretch, as Emp is really not an especially devoted videogamer, but I couldn't stop myself.)

I first saw this page in the DC 2007 comic/manga preview convention booklet from Comic-con. Just to let you know, I wasn't there but my uncle did and gave me the book along with some other stuff from there. If you were there, I would have been very happy to have talked to you.

Very nice. I like the panel work and the fluidity between each panel as her hands move. Pose and dialogue are rockin' too. Great job!
