From issue #1 of IRON MAN: HYPERVELOCITY, the ongoing miniseries I wrote and laid out for Marvel... Issue #3 on sale next Wednesday (2/7/07), BTW, featuring much, much sweeter full-color artwork by Brian Denham and Guru eFX!Note that I hadn't drawn up a final design for the new Iron Man armor as yet, when I did this layout... Compare and contrast with the final design sheets elsewhere in my gallery, if you like.

I do think the new armor is a cool design that helmet is especially different a nice play on the classic shell head with a cool bit of your own style put in

Well, I can see I'm going to be picking up *this* series (and I don't generally buy much from The Big Two...).
I've been curious about something for some time now. Where do you pick up your details for high-tech and ultratech? Do you follow some of the trade and military journals or do you do a load of library and/or online research?

These are truly and simply amazing. Your layouts look like finished comic pages. Which is obviously a fantastic thing. And the reason you create comics.
