Ryan Kinnaird's fine colors, over a scan of my pencils, resulting in an illo that was used in EA's snowboarding videogame SSX3 (and was once--but no longer-- available as a wallpaper).You can view the B&W penciled version at:

Yep, I deliberately went a tad overboard with the extreme ("EXTREEEEME!") twist of Griff's upper torso on the main figure, but y'know what? I like the result, regardless. My apologies if this overly dramatic flair ruins the otherwise hyper-realistic verisimilitude of the piece for anyone...

I really love the "Spidey" hand gesture on the main character...and is he wearing a cape on the right? He is! Rock on! Great stuff this has a lot of character and as for any anatomy exaggeration... it's comic illustration that's the whole point isn't it?

Why yes, because a game about snowboarding down a mountain three times as tall as Mount Everest while constantly mounting and dismounting from your board in mid-flight is so completely realistic to begin with!
I was never a big fan of Griff's character in the game (he always struck me as trying too hard), but this illustration of him really helps me forget that remember that alpine sports are meant to be about having fun and testing your body's limits.

I always thought the panels in this piece worked very well, since Griff is young and what not his many different styles and "personalities" shall we say sort of shon through on this piece.
