Continuing my re-designs for the Mega Man universe, here's Proto Man! You can read more about my thinking behind the design and my whole processΒ at our new blog Β on ComfortAndAdam.com.I actually re-used a discarded early Mega Man design I had made as a basis for him, since Proto Man is an earlier version of Rock. Also, I really liked that design, even if it was a little too busy for Mega Man's aesthetic. Works here, though!

Absolutely! Besides Mega Man and his allies which I've already done, I'm also doing all the Robot Masters from MM1. We'll see how far I get beyond that, because it's already a pretty big project.

I'd actually say the oppositeβI think being kind of stoic is important to Proto Man's character, so I think leaving most of his face obscured is more appropriate.

And, most of the time, you aren't going to see a thing. It's only in important moments that you'd get close enough to (barely) glimpse behind the visor.Β
