it's pretty much an one eyed dragon with a beak so strong it can crush steel that lives in maryland or in other words it's an american dragon (also sorry if i was a bit late to reply)

No worries, I already looked it up . Could you tell me more about the beak and dragon? Is it a wyvern or a european dragon for example, and the beak of a heron or an eagle?

well the beak of the snallygaster varies from description to description some say it's heron shaped other says it's eagle shape but i think the shape of the beak is somewhere in between (well that's what i heard from most description anyways) and for the shape of the dragon just like before it varies but the most common description often times describes it to be an European-ish dragon with feathery wings (oh and one thing i forgot to mention is that the snallygaster has a tentacle for tongue)

well one thing about the snallygaster it has a rival called the dwayyo the dwayyo is pretty much like a werewolf but unlike it's European cousin the werewolf, a dwayyo doesn't have a human form it's it was born as a dwayyo and will die as a dwayyo and folklore about the dwayyo often tells the snallygaster and the dwayyo attacking each other (this image pretty much best describes what fights between these 2 beast look like) (this is the creator of this image viergacht.deviantart.com/ )
