Origin: Vipredator is based on bush vipers and the classic box trap. It is a counterpart to Taipangi, which shares a similar level-up movepool, stat distribution and total, design concept of a snake and a man made item, and naming convention. In regards to the latter point, both have an ordinary English word with a two-letter addition; each is a consonant and the letter ‘i’. The name is a portmanteau of ‘viper’ and ‘predator’.
