Because I double or triple the initial resolution size, plus I add as much OS as I can with what memory I have available. Also, I juice up the quality to at least 8,000, which is typically low for me. I like to stay above 12,000-20,000, but that boosts my render time considerably. I honestly don't know if it helps, because render to render can be quite different. I pretend it does though.

Ouch! To be honest, I personally don't see very much difference in quality between the 4000 or 5000 that I use and the 10 - 20000 I know others use. On the apo mailing list, there was a long-winded discussion about this. Are you subscribed to the mailing list?

Oh, yes! I recognise that name. It gets rather confusing sometimes. I know people from the list and people from dA, but mostly I never manage to connect the two! Most of the images in my gallery, even those as prints, are rendered 4 - 5000.

I have the same problem connecting the two Apo's, with the exception of JoelFaber and DjEaton.

And I am trying to figure out what to do with the Gundam project you are requesting...Are you interested in something involving fractals ( I remember you saying that one of my pieces looked like something from a game) or just any sort of art with Gundam 00 or 0083?

Well, I've never seen a gundam piece done in fractal so that would be bad ass...idk, maybe something from gundam 00 with fractals surrounding it....or like....a fractal combination based on a gundam from 00. IDK really, whatever way you want to go with it. I'd just prefer it to be Gundam, and be kind of abstract like your old work if at all possible.

Give me a little time though. I might have time tomorrow to work on it, but if not, then after Christmas. I'll be really busy for the next week as my dad is flying in tomorrow afternoon and leaving on the 27th. A 'meet-the-fiance-and-the-parents' week.
