If someone can tell me why there is a straight line horizontally through the middle of this picture at certain zoom levels, I would greatly appreciate it.

Also, this picture is nice and smooth and dense when just viewing in my favorite image viewer, but on the desktop background it gets REALLY dotty, pixely, and grainy.
I've got my parameters set properly, and the size is rendered out 3 times the size of my desktop, so there shouldn't be an issue.

I just can't figure it out.
