River and Eleven yet again! With their infamous handcuffs.
I was accepted into the Gallifrey One artshow this year, and figured I’d better finish up a few more finished pieces to display! This was a bit of a new style experiment, but I've found digital lines to be far more time consuming than pencil, so I doubt I'll be using this technique too often in the future. Ah! I finally understand this image. For a long time, I always thought River was sitting on his shoulder. Ha! I get it now. Love the inclusion of the star-type stuff in the background. I am so going to have to watch this show...right after I finish ALL of Star Trek...like...two years from now.
Yes, digital lines are VERY time consuming (unless you're Stefany). I find that real inks are a better solution. They're faster to apply and easily made just as dark as digital lines, unlike pencil (again, unless you're Stefany). Of course, mistakes in pen are permanent, but that's what digital touch-up is for.

Everytime I see your artwork I instantly think of the song "Bombshell Blonde" by Owl City! I think it matches River quite well actually! I really enjoy your artwork it makes me very happy to see new work from you!

I absolutely LOVE the way you draw both of them. Honestly, all of your DW fanart is some of the very best I've seen, but your Doctor/River stuff is just... I CANNOT COMPREHEND ITS EPICNESS. Brilliant work, as always. (and the line work looks amazing and was worth however long it took.

Hah! I love how you've got her bra showing, and his tie all askew, and those cuffs sort of casually unseen, and the way she's got her feet in the seat with him.
I get the feeling that someone interrupted them and told them to "look awesome!" for a picture, but that as soon as it's done River's going to slip back down into his lap and finish what was interrupted.
I'm really looking forward to you doing a painting of that scene where River's sitting on the console (in you're multiple poses picture) where he's leaning in, she's pulling him by his bowtie, and her endless sexy legs are showing.

I love this! I was hoping you'd complete it. I love that River's got her leg wrapped around him, she's obviously got him right where she wants him.
The details of the console are perfect, it's easy to imagine them there, you know this has to have happened at some time, lots of times in fact.
I love the way he's leaning into her. I love her boots. His boots. The way she's got her hand curled around his neck. That whole pose, so natural, and sexy, and affectionate. The way they're looking at each other.
I can just imagine she's about to pull him in for a kiss, and that his hands would just naturally come up around her hips and back and pull her in.

Maybe it could be just me, but that area around her waist to hips should be a little curvier, no? And her hands... think they ought to be a little more slender and longer. They almost look the same as Doc's.
