Before Rose and River, there was Charley. Charlotte Pollard: "the girl who never was," for whom the Eighth Doctor would openly defy the laws of time and Time Lords and sacrifice everything to save. Though, in the end, it wasn’t enough....
*cries* I will never be over these two. Eight was such a snuggly Doctor (with seemingly no concept of personal space), and I imagine he and Charley spent many cozy evenings together like this in the TARDIS library...before everything went wrong.

Their relationship was one of the best developed in Big Finish and all DW. I have to say I never saw them as a possible couple, but maybe why not? She's quite special and funny and 8th is quite romantic, maybe the most romantic Doctor. They would be a great couple.

The books are amazing. They all look individually designed (except for the series books obviously) and the carpet actually looks really soft. How did you get that effect? Seriously?
