I put a piece of paper between my hand and the page, there are also tools you can get to rest your hand on that are off the page, though they're more for painting.

I tried it once or twice with a blank paper between, but I managed the paper stick on my hand and smudge the paper instead over the drawing.. xD

The one pushing back on the bow reminds me of my cat Diesel, who has a very "No writing! Only cat!" attitude. No way I'm allowed to type on a laptop when he could sit on my lap and be petted instead.
Also, this is perfectly lovely. The texture and detail are extraordinary, as with all of your works. I always look forward to seeing art from you, although I rarely comment. (Sorry.) Very well done!
