Description
*shideh 's contest prize painting, featuring her character Terra as a child, with her fox and bird companions as babies, also. I had fun with the little birds in the nest!
Terra is such a unique character with wonderful attributes and colors; she was very interesting and challenging to paint. I'm not used to working with bright red hair, or with fur. I put far more time and effort into this than it shows...I guess my painting muse isn't fully awake yet. ^__^; Yay for Spring!

Wow, this is beautiful! It looks like it belongs on the cover of a fantasy book. I guess that
applies to all of your wonderful pieces, but I can really seen this one on a cover for some
reason. The colors and composition are fantastic. Everything seems to flow together flawlessly.
The tree is gorgeous, but that little fox is darling and I love his slightly curly fur.

Thank you! The fur was a challenge I'd rather not attempt again, but I'm happy that it turned out well enough in the end. This was a fun piece.
