Description
A mixed-media portrait commission of Sherlock Holmes, as portrayed by Benedict Cumberbatch! You guys have been hiring me for all the best things lately. I can’t get over his hair! All those glorious curls. *___* His face was a huge challenge, spent days trying to get the shadow placement correct, but I must say I don’t mind realism practice at all when it’s on him!
I've been a fan of Sherlock Holmes since waaaaaay back, every book (have them all leather bound with gold embossed covers), every tv series and radio adaption and movie rendition of him throughout the decades. <3<3

Very nice portrait! Considering how peculiar his bone structure is, you did an excellent job! He looks very Romantic, doesn't he? I mean broody and dark and scarfy... Can we expect a Jeremy Brett one? He was also some gorgeous Sherlock.

Long term fan of Sherlock Holmes. Haven't seen many of the movies/series, but read the stories and novels. 
I was very skeptical about a modern-day adaptation of Holmes, but Moffat and Gatiss did not disappoint. Also, Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are impeccable in their respective roles, and I love their chemistry. ^^
Always a great admirer of your shading skills. I particularly like the curls. ^^

Thank you! That is one series I haven't actually seen yet! Can't seem to get my hands on it. There were movies, too, weren't there? I will see what I can do to find them now, especially after your recommendation.
The only Sherlock adaption I refuse to watch is the new tv series where Watson is a woman. *headdesk*
