Out of curiosity, how did you manage to get those splatter marks in the background without getting them all over the actual drawing? (: this is gorgeous

Used a tissue, and sometimes the edge of my test-paper to cover the drawing part when I splattered. And tissue to quickly wipe up anything that did happen to land on the drawing part, which it did many times. ^__^;;
