The Eleventh Doctor and Rose Tyler, in shared wonder and disbelief at seeing each other again. Rose slowly realizes that this strange man is still her Doctor, though his face has changed yet again and he is so much older and sadder, lonelier. It has been centuries for him, and he was so certain that he would never see her again. There is both pain and fondness in his eyes as touches her, as though touching a cherished memory.

A very touching and wonderful painting. We can see the sadness in their face. I always dreamt to see the Eleventh meets Rose and to see their reactions. Amazing painting.

It's the movies versions of four of Shakespeare's plays by the BBC. Mr. Hiddleston plays Prince Hal. I never tried to imagine Rose with the Eleventh. But still she sees him, and she understands. At first it's hard, like it was hard to see that Ninth has now another face...
But still I believe that Eleventh's love is River. Rose is happy with Ten and it's canonic. I see them together.
Btw, I believe that Rose is still happy, though clone is not a Doctor himself...

Yes, the love of the Doctor's life is certainly River, but Rose will always hold a special place in his heart, no matter how old and changed he becomes.

The drawing is simply wonderful but it makes me sad. Because if Rose is so happy to see HER Doctor, then she is unhappy with 10th clone and just thinking about this makes me want to crawl under nearest rock and just die there. That part was so complicated, the clone is the Doctor and atst he is not, but he loves and needs Rose just as much as the real one does. But I think Rose never stopped thinking about that poor lonely Doctor out there, her Doctor.
