THe most random question but ... could you see through the blindfold or was it more a matter of only wearing it for specific photos?

I could see only things near my feet. The character is in the blindfold only on one pic, so I wasn't wearing it on the festival.

I just started cosplaying last year and I FELL IN LOVE with the hobby. Recently I have been trying to challenge myself to do more complicated outfits and set design.
I am wondering...do you have any advice to offer in this regards? When I see photos like yours I often think *o* "How do they DO that?"
