Maria decided to put her impractical shoes to good use.
“Try going for your gun now, creep!” the sultry private eye laughed and dug her heels into the palms of the shrieking low life. “Now let this be a lesson in life for you, Marco, in terms of your future relationship with the opposite sex.” the young woman told him as his agonised sobs filled the room. “First, never underestimate women. Second don’t comment on her choice of clothes unless asked. Third, don’t speculate aloud as to whether said woman is wearing stockings or pantyhose, and fourth, don’t tell her to go back to her knitting and leave detective work to the men. Ok?”
“Yes, yes, yes, yes, ma’am…” gasped the agonised crook.
“Now, are you ready to tell me everything I want to know about Big Bruno?” Maria dug her hells in one more time by way of encouragement.
“Yeees! Please, ma’am!” responded Marco enthusiastically.
“Oh good,” replied the female PI, “I do so like it when men respect women.”
Once Marco had told Maria everything, she tied him up and gagged him and left a little note around his neck that read: “I AM A NEW MAN”.
“Suits you, sweetheart,” she told the miserable captive as she blew him a kiss and left his apartment.
