Description
It's a renaissance style shield that i made for a warhammer larp game. It's made with heat formed forex, bordered with foam and covered with leather. For the motif on the center it took me one hour for design and three hour for carve
It may seem an insane work and in fact it is

Made larp shields, too. But full leather is cool.

Forex is a plastic material perfect for thermoforming, and is the structure of this shield

I agree, it does seem like an insane about of work, but when the desire for perfection is there, only awesomeness can emerge.

I was wondering, how did you manage to get such a subtle curve? Like, what did you form over, if you're ok with sharing that info?

Looks like it was worth the effort! Looks stunning, I just wouldn't want anyone hitting my shield if it was that nice!

It's a plastic material (foamed PVC) that is used for signs, cartel ecc. and is very good for thermoforming

Cool, I'm going to look into that! Great work by the way, I like this shield a lot! Would you do something like this as a commission too, and how much would you charge?
