Menggambar bebas!!!Free drawing...is my favourite time during elementary school, usually when there's no teacher available during art class, they told us to...'menggambar bebas'
Sadly, it's been a while since I do it, ever since I plunge myself into illustration industry, I have no time for free drawing...a syndrome apparently shared by many artist. I had so much fun drawing this simple image, by the way it's inspired by a close friend of mine Thx Bro! he has tons of talents and creativity, I admire him! I envy him, drawing freely everytime he wishes...Ganbatte!
Anyway, This piece is called 'Mojang Bandung' sundanese for 'Bandung girl'. Bandung girls are famous for their fair beautiful physics, an opinion shared not just by Bandunger but also by a lot of people who are not from Bandung. But the girls are also famous for their negative traits they say, such as, spoiled, materialistic, lazy, etc XD hahaha...
But, as I always say, you can't trust streotypes, Not all Bandung girls are pretty, lazy, materialistic, and spoiled... bandung girls are just any other girls from every part of the world...some are pretty...some are...

A pretty Sundanese girl in embroidered kebaya and batik, sporting "geulis" umbrella and clogs from Tasik... that was what I have in mind as I did my horrible sketch. Thank you for making it came true! It's so beautiful.... if it was me, it wouldn't be this good.... so thank you so much! Or as they say in Sundanese: Hatur Nuhun!
