This is a collaboration with Josh Viola. We wanted to show young Sarah Connor learning her skills from the terminator sent to protect her - a father/daughter relationship between man and machine. I hope you like!

I was iffy with the movie as well - I kind of wish they explored Sarah's relationship with the Terminator as her father a little more - hopefully the sequel(s) will be more interesting!

I agree with you, I would have loved to see more scenes about Sarah's past with Pops, a bit like your drawing. They were so cute together

Such a shame this didn't win, as I believe it was more than worthy of taking first place. Without a word it tells a story, and manages a lot of emotion as well. It even nails the idea that the Terminator, while being kind, is still just coldly teaching her the basics and nothing more.

thankyou! im looking forward to the movie - i wonder how much of it takes place with sarah as a child. i think it would be really interesting to see her grow up with a terminator as her father figure.
