Does one need a holiday to eat pie? Probably not, but I'll take any excuse to do so! =9Also, this is my first time building a pie lattice. Plus, the "pi" symbol owes its lovely contrast to a generous (and delicious) layer of ground cinnamon.

It was a pretty awesome-tasting pie. I think we finished it pretty quickly as well. Good thing I remembered to take a picture of it before we started digging in.

I totally made a Pi pie for Pi Day too (also Pi cookies). Mine was apple. This one looks like it involves cherries or something.
