Thanks very much Silfarim, your praise is very generous. In some ways even the speed paintings that take little time have many years of crappy drawings I've struggled through behind them. They may have taken 25 minutes, but it took me years to be able to do that.
Keep drawing, Andrew Loomis is a great teacher to study. I also recommend George Bridgeman's Complete Drawing from Life. I owe so much to both of those giants.
