Purity Control was a name given to an extraterrestrial bacteria in the X-Files and appeared in the first (last two episodes) and second season (not sure which episode, but title is "Red Museaum", I think) The name just seemed to stick to what I was trying to accomplish, and that was to create a Giger/Me painting.
Origionally I wanted this to be a tribute picture to H.R. Giger. For thoes of you who don't know who Giger is, go kill yourself.
I still consider this a tribute to the man who inspired me and paved the path to ultimate wierdness/darkness. Without him, I might be painting pictures of flowers and very happy things.
I hate happy things.
