I did a shoot today. It was like 86°F (30°C) and 75% humidity so I was dying, but I had fun.$5+ Patrons can look forward to the rest of the red cheeked shoot tonight!

nice to see something stock-related licensed under reasonable terms
I'm so fed-up with every time I go searching for stuff I land in places like shutterstock, and on "art" that is far too generic to to warrant being watermarked, or even protected by copyright in the first place.

was a little confused about the "no critique!" thing, but your reasons actually make a lot of sense. Art resources aren't finished products, technically. (Be that as it may, stock icons tend to get used as-is... lol)
Anyways, just wanted to show my appreciation for using licensing terms that don't potentially stifle artists who'd want to use this for something!

Kinda varies...
Indeed I've asked a few people about using art. Most of them have agreed.
Generally, I look for stuff that can be used as-is on a larger project. So, vectors and fonts. Perhaps an icon here or there.
My problem isn't so much the stock art sites (well, actually, I don't exactly welcome the fact the exist...but... not the point, here) , it's that there's too much stuff there that literally NO ONE has business copyrighting, or putting a watermark on.
Not sure I've heard of either of these...

Let's see, I've looked mainly for things like gears and ancient languages (like the Egyptian Hieroglyphs) End-up landing on the paid stock sites in no time, on vector art, the vast majority of which just isn't unique enough to warrant being "copyrighted". Also, the "copyrights" on an ancient language should belong to the people that created it, or rather, not at all... so...
I'll prob get into poses when/if I ever get good at drawing people, or really, art in general. That's a much longer story, which atm, I probably only could cover in notes. I SUCK explaining all my problems, and especially publicly. (see my journal entries ANY time i try to address something... *facepalm*)
