Description
I kind of wish I didn't have to pick between traditional and digital for this (aren't things like Anatomy and Perspective kind of useful in both?) but I went with Traditional since that's what I do.Pose is in the gallery here:
You can find more perspective and foreshortening poses in my gallery in this folder !
Pardon spelling mistakes and general rambling. I promised *shuu-bunni I'd make one of these.
DON'T FEAR THE FORESHORTENING! ATTACK IT WITH VIGOR!

Foreshortening is hard, and I've tried so hard to get it right. But This is a really awesome tutorial~ I really like the technique you chose and I think it will help a lot! Thank you so much for sharing.

Holy cats! This is awesome! I've read many times that it's best to draw what you see rather than what you think is supposed to be there, and this just further confirms that being a good idea to me. I've never tried the horizontally flipping the image to check for hand bias, though. o:
Also, this pose is super cool.

i am glad it looks helpful! I didn't even know about hand bias until a few years ago and now I see it in everything I draw

it's a bit harder in person with a model, but using your dominant eye will help!
