Hi Sorry for the long wait. Yes i still have the file and I still have to rework my textures but the modeling has been cleaned.

Oh, that's good. For a while there I thought the project was dead, but I'm glad the model is coming along. Any chance you could post a more recent WIP pic?
But in any event, it will be interesting to see which is released first: this Megabyte model, or ReBoot The Guardian Code.

You're still having hope for GC? Mine was crushed when I read the paper about Rainmaker hiring generic kids as main characters. :/ It's like they have no idea what is Reboot as a concept at this point. Or they simply have no confidence in what Reboot is truly about. Hey I will take a look at my model like, now, The structure is done. If I remember well I needed to fix some textures.

I'm going to give it a chance. But yeah, I'd rather they resolve the cliffhanger at the end of the original, and/or get the original writers, than do what they're doing now.
I'm glad your model is progressing. Maybe someday someone can use it to make a decent new episode of ReBoot, resolving the ending. I've been working on my Tony Jay impression.

I've been looking for CGI models in OBJ or something like that of a couple of the characters from reboot. If I can find them in a format like OBJ I've got a guy that can rate them for poser.

Well I don't think I want to release it, the file is truly a mess to be honest (I was starting 3D at that time) So the model is not really good for anything the way it is right now.

When I'll have time I'll do a clean version

I don't mean to be a bother, but it's been almost two years since this conversation. ReBoot was just announced to return to television, and ReBoot's 20th anniversary is almost upon us. Do you still think you will release a new version of this model?

I collect models from old television shows and video games for nostalgic purposes. If I had this Megabyte, then maybe after I got some rigging and animating under my belt I could use it for some kind of Blender short. The only other models of Megabyte out there are the ones from the old PSX ReBoot video game, and those are so low quality it's not worth it to rip them. I don't really care if you're going to remake this or not, I'd just like to have a copy of Trojan Megabyte, if it's not too much trouble.

I could use the fixed version if you do it some time soon. I've been working towards animation and rigging in a custom engine and I'd like to see if I can do justice to Megabyte.
