Description
While researching classes for this chart, I discovered some ships I thought were cruisers are actually classified as frigates. So, expect an updated frigate chart sometime in the future.Related content

I always understood that the TMP Enterprise was a Constitution refit, and the 1701A model was Enterprise Class. I suppose it all comes down to what each individual want to think.

Mr Scott's Guide to the Enterprise also states that the 1701A was renamed Enterprise from Ti-Ho. But all other sources say it was originally Yorktown. Which is right? Β

Good, someone else realizes that the Motion Picture Enterprise is Enterprise class.
i first read about that in Mr. Scott's Guide To The Enterprise. Β Then the TNG tech manual came out and mistakenly called it Constitution class. Β Yes that ship was refitted from a Constitution class, BUT even Willard Decker said it's an almost totally new Enterprise where Kirk wouldn't know a tenth of what he knew.
as Kirk stopping a Yeoman asking where turbo shaft A was. Β It wouldn't surprise me that when Kirk looked down in the cargo bay attached to the shuttle bay, he was expecting to see a brewery style engineering.
Anyways I even asked Andrew Probert as to which class the motion picture Enterprise, he said in his universe it was Enterprise class, but will still be a refitted Constitution class.
As far as I'm concerned, that's verification.
