Description
Shilv entering a calm bay attached to the ocean.Looking at this, I realize I forgot his footprints, whoops.
Big thanks to =Kurokari who helped me get the water to look more like water and less like "jello" to use her words.
Made 100% with Blender

It seems like every time I turn around, you get even better haha.
I love the detail on this and what I can see from the design. c:

Beautifil job with this, colors are so calm and the overal feeling is very serene.
Shilv's pose looks natural and also water with Shilv's shadow looks realistic.

Thank you. I was hoping to really improve my realism with this one.

A good start.
What I like: water, scales on rear leg, point of view.
What I'd like to see improved: a less bright sand, modeling of feet and junction of hind leg with trunk, a less harsh lighting, junction between water and sand (water looks not really transparent), DOF added.
Hope to have been useful. Keep on with your good work.

Thanks for honestly pointing out what needs fixing. Not enough people do that.

Make the sand a little darker?
The render will need quite a bit of tweaking to compliment the concept as it should...

Better. Now make it an animation. I want to see that water move.

I can definelty see the improvement with the water. Have you ever tried to create a huge wave?
